Zarb Stores Limited which is a family run enterprise, was established in August 1970 by Joseph and the late Carmen Zarb, when they introduced industrial sewing machines on the market, and within a short time the company took 75% of the local market.
In 1975 Zarb Stores Limited, became the second company in Europe after the UK, on introducing Suzuki marine engines to Malta. Since then, the company has been dealing with Suzuki Marine engines. We are proud to have been exclusive distributors for Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan to the Maltese Islands for the last 33 years and apart from sales, our success is due to the after sales service provided by our professional personnel.
In 1984, Zarb Stores Ltd began representing Kosan Crisplant a/s of Denmark, which manufactures systems and equipment for the Liquid, Petroleum and Gas industry. Zarb Stores supplied the first LPG filling plant to the parastatal company in B'Bugua, Malta.
In 1986 Zarb Stores Ltd, as a representative of Kosan Teknova a/s introduced the first clip-on LPG 22mm regulators and compact cylinder valves on the local market.
Zarb Stores Limited took the initiative in October 1995 to open the first Flight Training School in Malta with the name of European Flight Academy Co Ltd. A year later the company bought its first aircraft Rans Sakota (single engine) from UK for training. In 1997 another two aircraft from USA joined the Academy. The company was founded by Mr Joseph Zarb and Capt. Raymond Zarb.
In October 2008, Zarb Stores Ltd introduced the new Suzuki second generation 4-stroke outboard motors - DF70/80/90
